Florida Real Estate market and our prediction.

The market in general has been slow and will continue to be slow for the next 12 month. More inventory of new homes and condos will ad to the already overbuilt market . Prices for properties over $ 500000 will fall even more in 2010 . With an increase in foreclosures, supply will grow.

The market will get more stable in 2011.  We could see more demand and increase of sales in  late 2011 and thereafter. Due to the weak Dollar and the price reduction in Real Estate, Investors will pick up bargains in this market. There are going to be great opportunities.

However, annual percentage gains on properties like we have seen in 2002 to 2005 will be far away. Single digit % increase in  property value will be more likely  in the future. 

Investments in Real Estate is a business like any other , which needs experience and knowledge . The most important thing is to buy right and at the right time.  Do you know the right  time and value ?
